Field Day

Friday, June 2nd, is the last day of school and our annual Field Day. We are excited to have the activities set up for our children to enjoy as the school year comes to a close. A few items to note:
- This year, with the help of community sponsors Alhamdulillah, we were able to get t-shirts made for our students to wear on field day. We will be giving these out on Thursday inshallah.
- Field day will be held at Bonnie Wenk Park, inshallah. All drop off and pick up will be from Bonnie Wenk Park. Drop off will be normal time 8:11 to 8:30 and pick up will be at 11:30 am. Our last day of school is a half day.
- Students should be sent with their backpack, a snack in a disposable plastic bag, a disposable water bottle, a small towel and an extra set of clothes all labeled with their name.
- There will be no lunch on this day, since it’s a half day
- Please make sure the students have appropriate sun and bug protection, (sunblock, bug spray), on them before arriving as teachers will not have this with them. They are welcome to bring caps, visors or sun hats with them,but please refrain from sending sunglasses.
- If you would like to send your child with a frisbee, soccer ball, or football for freeform activities, you may do so. Please make sure to have your child’s name on all items, inshallah.
