Field Trip to Chestnut Square

Insha’Allah all students of MSE will be going on a field trip to Chestnut Square to participate in a variety of age appropriate activities on Wednesday, November 30th, 2016. This is our first school-wide field trip of the year and we have opted to use school buses as our mode of transportation! We are excited and believe this to be a wondrous opportunity for our students to engage in learning outside the campus of MSE.  We will be representing our school and our faith, and ask that you also encourage your child(ren) to engage with those they meet in the best of manners.

We at MSE are planning a field trip to Chestnut Square Historic Village to see their wonderful rendition of village homes from the 1850’s to 1940’s. It is sure to be a day of fun, learning, and excitement as we tour the old homes, experience the school house, learn how to churn butter and card cotton, and engage in various other age appropriate activities.  After the demonstration and tour, we will enjoy our snack on the Village grounds before heading back to school, InshaAllah. Drop off and Pick up at school will be at the regular scheduled times.

We are sending home field trip forms with students, so please check their bags.  If you haven’t received one please print out the form emailed to you or pick one up from the office.  Please complete the form and return it with the fee to the office by Monday, November 28th, 2016.
